I was at the library in Springfield and saw they only offer Python books for beginners
I mean, idk, maybe it's just me but starting with something like JavaScript for web stuff feels way more rewarding. Has anyone else felt pushed toward one language when you wanted to try another?

What's with libraries pushing Python like it's the only way to start coding?

Gotta ask if it's really that big of a deal though. Libraries have limited space and Python's pretty standard for basics, so they just go with what's popular. Maybe just check out an online tutorial if you want something else instead.
