Shoutout to the block party coffee tasting that changed my view on swaps
I always thought coffee swaps were pointless and just for people showing off. Our neighborhood had a tasting event last Saturday, and I went with low hopes. A guy next door brought a light roast from Guatemala, and I tried it on a whim. The taste was clean and sweet, way better than my dark roast habit. Now I get why sharing brews with others can open up new likes. I'm even planning to host my own swap next month.
Totally get starting out skeptical about coffee swaps. That clean, sweet taste compared to a dark roast is a real eye-opener. Hosting your own sounds like a cool way to keep that going.
