Waiting in line at the Franklin, TN DMV, guy behind me says he'd let an AI pick his kid's school
Two people ahead of me in line for plates, this guy starts talking about how he let some chatbot rank the schools in Williamson County for his daughter. The mom next to him jumped in and said a machine can't feel a hallway, you have to walk it yourself and see how the front office treats you. I get both sides, test scores and commute data are real things, but so is that gut feeling when you park the car. Would you trust a computer to sort your kid's school list, or is that something you have to see with your own eyes?
Man, you're right that test scores and commute times are real data points, but a chatbot can't tell you if the principal actually knows the kids' names. Gut feeling when you park the car is just as real as any spreadsheet.
