My uncle in Detroit told me to drive my '69 Camaro instead of storing it, now I can't decide if he's right
He said a car that sits for 20 years costs more in seals and rust than mileage ever would, but part of me still thinks keeping the odometer under 40k is the smarter play, so do you guys actually drive your numbers matching cars or just let them sit?

That 20 year number is what gets me, because my dad let his '68 sit for 12 years in a garage and the rear main seal still leaked and the brake lines were trash. So here's my real question. If you do start driving it, what's your actual plan for the miles? Are we talking weekend cars and coffee runs, or are you going to daily it and rack up 8k a year? Because there's a big difference between 40k and 90k on a numbers matching car when you go to sell. Also, what condition is it in right now? If it's already a driver with some road chips, that changes the math a lot.
