Hit 500 long box slots and had to rethink my storage setup
I hit 500 single issues in my long boxes after sorting for like 6 hours last Sunday, and it really drove home how far I've gone since I started collecting at the flea market in 2019. The weird part is I never counted before, and seeing that number made me realize I was buying filler just to fill space. Has anyone else hit a milestone number and used it to trim their pull list or reorganize by arc instead of title?
Watched a buddy do the exact same thing when his spreadsheet hit 600 books last year. He ended up dumping about 80 filler issues he never even read and switched his whole setup to arcs, which sounds smart until you need issue 3 of a run you split across two boxes. Your mileage may vary, but it pushed him to finally stop buying stuff just because it was a dollar.
