Serious question, my walk-in cooler door froze shut on a Friday rush and I had to get creative
Last Friday around 6:45pm, the walk-in cooler at our spot in Boise froze solid and the handle wouldn't budge. I grabbed the heat gun from the dish pit, set it on low, and worked the frame for about 90 seconds until the latch popped loose. I lost maybe 4 minutes of service, but it felt like an hour. Anyone else keep a heat gun on hand for stuff like this, or did you fix the root cause with a new gasket?
