Switched to a community garden plot and my veggie yield doubled in one season

Tbh I always struggled getting tomatoes to grow in my backyard cause the soil was terrible. After 4 months in a shared garden with composted beds, I got 30 pounds of tomatoes off just 3 plants. Has anyone else seen a big difference from community soil vs their own yard?

Oh wow, yeah, mine did too! I swear tomatoes are like the drama queens of the garden or something. Give them a little extra water or a new spot and they just lose it. But in a good way, I guess. I got so many tomatoes last year I was giving them away to neighbors. It's almost like they know when you're trying something different and they want to show off.
