That lemon of a power supply finally made me check ripple with a scope

I had a rig crashing randomly for weeks in my shop near Austin, swapped everything except the PSU because voltages looked fine on my multimeter. Bought a cheap Hantek scope and saw the ripple was way over spec at 90mV, replaced the unit for $110 and it's been rock solid since. Anyone else trust multimeters too much until they saw the actual waveform?

Man, same thing happened to me with a cheap ATX unit, scope showed the truth real quick.
