That Tuesday every drive in the office decided to fail at once
Three machines in one morning, all dead drives. One was a Seagate from 2011, the other two were brand new WD Blues out of the same box. Has anyone else seen a bad batch straight from the distributor, or was I just cursed that day?

idk if it was a bad batch but I had two WD Blues die in a row once, turned out the SATA power splitter in my case was frying them. after swapping that out I haven't lost a drive since, maybe worth checking your power setup before you blame the box.
