200th slab poured, finally rethinking my mix ratio
Hit my 200th residential slab last week outside of Tulsa, and I used to swear by a 5 sack mix for everything. But number 200 cracked near the walkway corner, and my supplier pointed out the slump was too stiff for the 90 degree heat. Switched to a 6 sack with more water reducer on the next job, worked way better. Anyone else track their pour count and adjust based on failures instead of wins?
