Dropped $340 on a laser screed level for a 4,000 sq ft pour in Tulsa, and it paid for itself that same day
Poured a warehouse slab that came out dead flat with zero low spots, so the GC handed me two more jobs on the spot. Anyone else feel like the cheap rotary levels are false economy once you're past 2,000 sq ft?
Read a thread on a concrete forum where a guy said the same thing, that the cheap levels cost him way more in callbacks than the good gear ever did. Once you're laying down that much square footage, a low spot means grinding or a patch kit, and that eats your profit fast. Sounds like the laser paid for itself before lunch.
