I was watching a video about drone tech and the guy casually said modern drones can't hover for more than 30 minutes without a charge. That's when it hit me that the 'birds' I see sitting on wires for hours would need impossible batteries. What's a conspiracy you believed until one specific detail ruined it for you?

Man, that battery detail is such a perfect example. It's always one of those simple, real world facts that just pops the whole bubble, isn't it?
