TIL comparing a 1998 JFK Jr. doc to a 2023 podcast on the same theory made me rethink how I judge conspiracy claims
Back in high school around 2009, a buddy handed me a burned DVD about JFK Jr. and I believed half of it because it felt so serious and had dramatic music. Last month I watched a podcast covering the same theory and noticed they never showed a single source, just reused the old footage with a new voice. The doc at least named dates and people I could go look up myself, even if the claims fell apart when I did. Anyone else notice older conspiracy stuff got challenged more on facts while newer versions lean on vibes and clips?
