Chose the cheap dryer chair over the hydraulic one and I keep kicking myself
When I set up my booth at the salon in Columbus six months ago, I had to pick between a $180 basic dryer chair and a $675 hydraulic one, and I went with the cheap option to save money. The thing wobbles on every client with thick hair, so I end up holding the hood steady with one hand while I rinse bowls with the other. Two weeks ago a woman with waist length hair sat there for 40 minutes and the seat kept sliding down an inch at a time. I finally put the cheap one in the back for storage and bought the hydraulic version on a payment plan. Anyone else here regretted going budget on a chair they use every single day?
Watching the seat slide down an inch at a time would've sent me over the edge. Forty minutes of you fighting that thing while some poor lady slowly sinks toward the floor? No way. Good call eating the cost and getting the hydraulic one.
