Hot take: I picked the stinky perm over the safe trim and my client in Boise loved it
She came in with a photo of a tight spiral perm from 1987 and I had to choose between talking her into a loose body wave that would fade in 6 weeks or just going for the full rod set with two bottles of solution, and I went for it, and now she's booked every 8 weeks and calls me her perm guy, so has anyone else caved on a retro request and had it actually work out?
