Watched a stylist at the Chicago hair show lose a client over a 2 inch trim, and it changed how I do consults
I was at the Midwest Beauty Expo in Rosemont last March and saw a stylist argue with a client about whether 2 inches was too much off. The client walked out mid-cut with foils still in her hair, and the stylist just stood there holding the scissors. Now I make every client point to exactly where they want me to stop before I pick up anything sharp. Anyone else had a consult blow up over a length disagreement?
