A customer told me my soap was drying out her skin so I switched from coconut oil to shea butter
After 5 months of selling at the Eugene farmers market I had one lady come back to tell me her hands felt tight after using my lavender bar and swapping to shea butter at 30% fixed it completely what ingredient changes have you had to make based on feedback.

Oh man, that's a good fix! I had a similar thing happen with my lotion bars actually. I was using olive oil at a pretty high amount and a few people said it felt greasy but not really moisturizing. I swapped to a mix of sweet almond and avocado oil and dropped the olive oil to like 10% and that made a big difference. It's wild how one small change can totally flip the texture and how it sits on the skin, you know? Idk, maybe it's just the way different oils behave with different skin types, but shea butter at 30% sounds like a solid move for sure.

Hey, good on you for listening to feedback. Shea butter at that percentage is a solid fix for tight skin. Coconut oil can be too stripping for some people, plain and simple.
