Serious question, does selling at flea markets actually count as a cottage industry or am I just paying $40 a weekend for a hobby?
A vendor in Reno told me she clears about $200 most Saturdays off crochet blankets, but after the $40 booth fee and gas I'm wondering if the math works. Anyone here run the numbers on whether markets beat just selling online?

Wait, she clears $200 most Saturdays off crochet blankets? How many blankets is that, like 8 or 10 at $20 a pop? Because that means she's crocheting a full blanket almost every single day, which is nuts. I crochet and a decent size blanket takes me at least a week of evenings. Unless she's got some kind of speed hook situation going on I don't buy it. Somebody's math ain't mathing here.
