How a marshland project changed my approach to outrigger pads
I was on a job in the Louisiana marshes last spring. The ground was super soft, and we kept sinking. One of the old-timers showed me to use extra-wide mats under the outriggers. It made all the difference, and now I always pack them for similar sites. Saved us a ton of time and hassle.

Learned that lesson too, wide mats are key.

Switched to a 5-foot wide mat and never looked back. The extra space is a total game changer for stability, lol.

How wide did you end up going? I mean, yeah, you really can't go too big.
