I tried writing a short story using only prompts from a random word generator, and one weird combo broke my writer's block
I pulled 3 random words every morning for 2 weeks and forced myself to build a scene around whatever came up. Day 6 gave me "ladder, mustard, regret" in Portland and somehow I wrote 1,200 words in one sitting, way more than I ever get with a blank page. What random prompt tricks have actually gotten you unstuck instead of just sitting there staring at a cursor?

Mustard isn't a word in most generators.
