Old prompt notebook from 2012 gave me a weird flashback

Found a spiral with maybe 40 prompts I wrote back in community college. Tried one about a diner that only serves meals from your memory, and the story came out way darker than I expected. It taught me that good prompts age like tools, they still work, but you handle them different now. Anyone else dig up old ideas that hit completely wrong, or right, in a new way?

Found my old notebook too. Tried the one about a haunted vending machine and now I can’t eat corn chips without feeling judged. Prompts from 2012 are basically cursed artifacts at this point.
