Last summer, my laptop died during a storm. I had cloud backups that saved my files every Friday. Everything was restored quickly and I lost no data.

Back up your files today. I learned the hard way when my old computer crashed. Lost all my photos from a big trip. Had to rewrite a whole project from memory. Now I sync everything to the cloud every Friday. Takes no time but saves huge headaches.
