Bought a $19 "family size" meat bundle at the Concord Market Basket and half of it was gray by Tuesday
The package said freezable but the chicken thighs smelled off after 48 hours in the fridge, so I tossed about $8 worth. Has anyone else had luck splitting those big bundles with a neighbor instead of trying to eat it all yourself?
Splitting with a neighbor is the move for sure. My buddy and me used to go halfsies on those big pork loins from Costco and it worked out great til he moved. Now I just buy the smaller packs and eat the extra couple bucks, beats throwing out gray chicken.
