The $8 acrylic shelf that left my coffee maker on the floor
Bought a cheap acrylic shelf from an overstock site last month for my tiny kitchen. It bowed and cracked by week three, sending my whole coffee station down at 6am. Anyone else find a better budget option that holds real weight?

Melted shelf corners on my garage too. Cheap acrylic can't handle any heat or real weight, period. Metal wire shelving from a hardware store, like the freestanding kind, holds mugs and a machine no problem. Never trust clear plastic with anything above room temperature.
