Wait, that's 200,000 miles on the original engine?

Yeah, my buddy's 12 valve just rolled over 200k and it's barely broken in. He bought it from some old farmer back in 2015 with like 180k on it, and it's been his daily driver plus towing a trailer for his landscaping biz ever since. The thing just won't quit. He changes the oil every 3,000 miles, uses Rotella, and that's pretty much it. No major repairs, just normal stuff like a water pump and alternator. Those old Cummins engines are tanks, no joke.

Might be the first million mile engine I've heard of that actually made it that far without a rebuild. Those old 12 valves are built different, pretty much bulletproof if you keep up on oil changes. 200k is barely broken in for those trucks, they'll go triple that easy.
