My iPad Pro sketch crashed right before a client deadline last Tuesday

I was 4 hours into a character design for a local game studio when Procreate just froze and then shut down. I lost about 3 layers of shading work because my auto-save was set to 15 minutes instead of 5. Totally my fault for not checking the settings after the last update. I ended up redoing the whole piece in 2 hours using a cheaper app called Sketchbook to test if it was stable. Has anyone had Procreate suddenly crash on the M2 chip? I am thinking of switching apps for client work.

Four hours on shading and you're blaming the app for a 15 minute auto-save? That's a rookie workflow mistake, not a chip problem. I've had Procreate crash on M2 like three times in two years and every time it was my fault for not saving manually (seriously, just tap that thumbnail every 20 minutes). You could have redone those three layers in 30 minutes tops if you weren't panicking about a deadline that close. Switching to Sketchbook over one crash sounds dramatic - you'll probably miss the brush engine when you realize how limited the free version is.
