The moment I saw someone's piece at a local gallery and realized my process was backwards
I stumbled into a small art show in Austin last month and saw a digital piece that just hit different. Turns out the artist starts with black and adds light, while I've always done the opposite. Has anyone else had a basic workflow change that totally shifted their results?

Painting upside down" is hilarious but honestly kinda smart. I tried flipping my canvas once and realized my composition was a total mess. Switching to black base with light overlay changed everything for me too. Ever try forcing yourself to work in the dark?
