Deleted 3,000 old emails in one sitting, then realized I trashed a Christmas card from my late uncle

I spent last Tuesday blasting through my inbox with bulk delete, and now I'm wondering if digital declutter means saving memories or just getting to zero, which side do you land on when the quick clean costs you something you can't get back?

Man, that's a rough one. Did you actually open the card before you deleted it, or did you just see the sender's name and assume the contents? Because if you never read it, that's a whole different kind of ache than losing a memory you already had.
