Vent: Spent $60 on a fancy email sorting tool and it was completely useless

Bought this app called CleanMail last month because I was drowning in inbox clutter. It was supposed to auto sort everything into folders for me. Instead it moved half my important work emails into spam and flagged a bunch of junk as urgent. Spent like 4 hours undoing the mess. Anyone else fall for one of these expensive email tools that just made things worse?

So did you buy this thing based on reviews or just the description? I'm curious if it was one of those apps that looks great in screenshots but fails in real world use. Would help the rest of us know which one to avoid.

Looks great in screenshots but fails in real world use" pretty much sums it up perfectly. Saw the app on a flashy ad during my lunch break and figured why not, biggest mistake of the week. Lesson learned - if it promises to organize your whole life in three taps, it's probably gonna crash on the fourth.
