Warning: paid $45 for an app that promised to clean my inbox in 5 minutes and it archived my tax receipts
It labeled 200 unread emails as "junk" including 3 years of W-2s from my old job, and support just sent me a help article link. Did anyone else get burned by one of these cleanup apps, or is there one that actually asks before deleting stuff?

So the app cleaned your inbox by throwing away the stuff that actually matters. That is not cleaning, that is a raccoon in a suit. Support sending you a help article link is the cherry on top, very helpful, thanks for nothing. Mine once marked my dentist appointment emails as spam and I showed up a week late with a very confused look on my face. Asking before deleting seems like the bare minimum and yet here we are.
