I finally got my vintage porch light working again

That light has been broken since we moved in years ago. I always assumed fixing it would need an electrician. With some online tips, I tackled the wiring myself this Saturday. Now it shines like new, and it takes me back to summer nights at my grandma's place. Such a cozy little victory for our home!

Figuring out wiring is mostly trial and error after the first few connections. You just have to trace each line back carefully and not rush it. A little patience saves you from a real headache later on.
