Silencing my home's ductwork turned out to be simpler than I ever imagined.
I always had this constant noise in my room at night, and it drove me crazy. I mean, I thought it was just the house settling or something. But then I realized it was the air ducts rattling every time the heat turned on. So I checked online for how to fix it, and it was basically just taping the joints with foil tape and adding some insulation foam. Idk, maybe it's just me, but doing that made a huge difference. Now my room is super quiet, and I actually get to sleep through the night. It's one of those DIY things that seems scary but is totally doable.
