Tried cordless nailer over pneumatic for a deck rebuild, regretting it in Ohio

I picked a battery framing nailer to avoid hauling a compressor up and down ladders, but after 3 days of hump nails and slow charge times I'm wondering if the cordless hype is just marketing. Anyone else ditch their air setup and end up going back to the hose?

Swapped mine back after one afternoon, batteries die right when the deck boards are lined up perfect.
