Unpopular opinion: those PVC trim boards are not worth the hype

I spent $380 on PVC trim for my shed build in June and now it's warping in the heat, 90 degrees last week. The seller said it would never bend but mine bows 2 inches near the roofline. Anyone else regret going plastic over cedar in this climate?
