Took me 3 hours to figure out my bench was crooked by 1/8 inch
I built this workbench last month and kept wondering why my cuts were always slightly off. After three hours of checking my saw, my fence, and even my square, I finally put a level on the bench itself. Turns out I forgot to shim one leg when I set it on my uneven garage floor... so the whole top was tilted. Now I keep a set of shims taped to the leg just in case. Has anyone else chased a tiny problem like that for way too long?

My garage floor is the same way, so I ended up epoxying some adjustable leveling feet onto the legs last year. That fixed the tilt for good.

Wait, you seriously epoxied leveling feet right onto the legs? That's not a bad idea actually. I've been using these cheap shims that keep sliding out every time I sweep. @paulw63, did you just go with standard furniture levellers or something more heavy duty? My garage has this wild slope near the door and it drives me crazy every time I park. Feels like my workbench is gonna slide right into the wall one day. Maybe I'll steal your idea but use some locking nuts so nothing shifts around.
