Totally get this. It is crazy what one little fix can do for an old setup. Like you stop fighting the gear and it just starts working right. That feeling when the suction grabs hold and you know you nailed the tweak. Why pay for new when you can make the old stuff work better, you know?

Remember when you'd just toss broken stuff? I did until a simple fix made my old vacuum suck like new.
