Saw a teammate salvage drywall from a moldy site

He claims it's safe once dry, but I'm concerned about health risks. Should I speak up or let it go?

Seriously? Mold spores don't just disappear when the drywall dries out.

In my last house, a small roof leak led to mold inside the wall. You hit the nail on the head with spores not just vanishing. What happens when the humidity rises again, right? I learned the hard way that drying isn't enough. We ended up cutting out the bad drywall and treating the studs. It's a huge pain, but better than breathing that stuff in.

Spot on, @derek_ramirez... once mold gets in, you can't just dry it and hope. Gotta tear out the bad stuff for good.
