Just realized I've pulled over 500,000 feet of wire in my career

Did the math after finishing a big commercial job in Phoenix. That's enough to go from my house to the next state line. Anyone else ever figure out a number that made you pause?

Man, that's a wild number to actually add up. It reminds me of the time we had to run cable through an old school building, and just the thought of pulling it through those ancient walls made my whole body ache. Nina147 is right, picturing all that wire in one spot is a special kind of exhausting. Makes you realize how much of this job is just moving heavy stuff from point A to point B, and then doing it again a thousand times.

Wait, that's actually a mind-bending number to think about. Five hundred thousand feet of wire is just... a whole different kind of scale. Makes my back hurt just trying to picture it all coiled up in a warehouse somewhere.
