Read an article once where a guy fixed a whole TV just by swapping a cap that looked totally fine from the outside. Crazy how those little things can cause so many headaches without showing any signs of being bad. I've been burned by that myself more than once, spent hours chasing my tail on a board only to finally swap a part that looked brand new. Really makes you appreciate the importance of just testing components instead of trusting your eyes. Good on that guy for saving someone a ton of frustration.
