Controller board went out on a MRL in Tucson last Thursday

I was working on a machine-room-less in a 4-story office building near downtown Tucson. Everything was running fine on the morning test, then around 11am the car just stopped between floors with no warning. Had to do a manual lowering to get two people out, which took about 45 minutes because the brake release was stuck. Got the controller board opened up and saw a burnt spot near the main relay connection. I ended up swapping in a temporary bypass just to get the car running for the rest of the day, then ordered a replacement board from the supplier. They said it would be 3 weeks out which is ridiculous for a 2019 model. Has anyone else had issues with these newer MRL controller boards failing like this? I'm wondering if it's a heat problem in the cabinet since it gets over 100 in that shaft.

Did you get a sunburn just from looking at that burnt relay connection? I once had a board fry so bad it looked like a lizard was trying to crawl out of the cabinet. That 3 week wait time sounds brutal when you're stuck in a hot shaft with a dead car.

Did you see that video going around about the guy who rigged up a fan from a computer power supply just to keep his board cool? Sounds crazy but desperate times I guess. That 3 week wait with no elevator in a hot shaft is a nightmare, wouldn't wish that on anyone.
