Figuring out how to fix a stubborn extraction took me almost two hours

Honestly, I had this client come in with a deep, closed comedo right in the middle of her cheek. It looked simple enough, but it just would not budge. I tried my usual gentle pressure with a loop tool after steaming, but nothing. I even tried a different angle after a warm compress. Tbh, I was starting to sweat a little because I didn't want to cause any damage or marks. I ended up having to do a very careful, tiny lancet incision to loosen it up before I could finally get it out cleanly. The whole thing, from start to finish, took about an hour and forty five minutes for one single pore. Has anyone else had a spot that just refused to cooperate for that long? What's your go-to move when gentle pressure isn't cutting it?

That pore had a better pension plan than I do. An hour forty five is a full movie with previews. My go to is a very tiny lancet nick too, but sometimes I just have to tell them it needs another week to ripen. Can't win them all.

Right? The waiting game is the worst part.
