Spent three days trying to fix a stubborn extraction on a client's chin
This client from the West End came in with what looked like a simple blackhead, but it was a deep, hard sebaceous filament that just wouldn't budge. I tried my usual enzyme mask, steam, and even a comedone extractor, but it took me coming back to it over three separate appointments to finally get it clear. Anyone have a better method for those really deep, stuck ones that won't cause trauma?

Those deep, stuck ones are the worst... a friend had something similar and her esthetician ended up using a warm clay poultice over a few days to soften it up before extraction. It finally came out clean without any damage. Sometimes you just have to soften it from the outside in over time.

Yeah, a warm compress can really help with those stubborn ones. Just hold it on there for a few minutes a couple times a day to bring it closer to the surface. Ever tried that before it gets too angry?
