Vent: A client in her 70s told me she's never used sunscreen a day in her life

I was doing a basic facial for a regular in Phoenix, and when I reached for the SPF 50 to finish, she just laughed and said 'honey, I grew up putting baby oil on at the beach.' Her skin actually looked pretty good, which really threw me. Has anyone else had a client with perfect skin who totally broke all the rules we preach?

My grandma was the same way, and it's true what @sethh58 said about the sun just giving up on some people. Genetics play a huge role, so those old rules don't apply to everyone. I just tell clients she won the skin lottery and leave it at that.

Yeah, like it saw the forecast and just called in sick for the week. Total no-show. You can almost picture it shrugging from behind a cloud bank. Makes you wonder if it's got a better gig somewhere else, leaving her with this permanent drizzle. Pretty rude, if you ask me.
