Walked past the old salon on Elm Street and the window display was all machines

Remember when a facial was mostly creams and massage. Now it's all red light panels and microcurrent wands. The place is called Glow Haven, and they have a whole wall of gadgets. Makes me miss the simple touch part of the job. Anyone else feel like the hands-on skill is getting lost?

Agree with @ericnguyen, it just feels like a robot shop now.

Glow Haven has a whole wall of gadgets now? That's wild... I get what @rosek44 is saying about the science angle, but it sounds so cold.

Yeah I read an article about how tech is taking over the spa industry. It said some clients actually prefer the machines because they feel more scientific or something. Kinda sad if you ask me, nothing beats a good hand massage lol.
