PSA: A coworker's overnight slow cooker trick helped my workday meals
I work remote and kept missing lunch since making food took forever. A coworker suggested prepping a slow cooker at night so it's done by midday. Got any easy dump-and-go recipes for packed schedules?

You mentioned "dump-and-go recipes" which is the dream. Are you looking for something specific like just chicken breasts with sauce, or more of a full soup or stew? Also, any big dietary limits, like avoiding dairy or needing it to be low-carb? That would help narrow down the best easy options.

Jason Lopez asking about dietary limits made me realize I used to skip slow cooking because I thought it was only for big family meals. Turns out it works great for single portions too if you use a small cooker. My game changer was just throwing in a cheap pork shoulder with a jar of salsa verde on low for 10 hours, then shredding it. It lasted me all week for tacos, salads, even just over rice. What's your go-to cheap cut of meat for this kind of thing?
