My scrap metal storage idea just made a bigger mess
Tbh, I cleared out a corner of the shed to sort old shoes and irons. Thought stacking them by size on shelves would be smart. Now it's all just a heavy, noisy pile when I need one piece. I spent my whole Saturday on this and got nowhere. So much for getting organized.

Ever try sorting by weight instead of size? I used to group all my old tools by type, thinking that was the smart move. Then I spent ten minutes digging for a single wrench in a bin of wrenches. Now I keep the heavy, awkward stuff low and separate, like irons on the floor, and lighter bits up high. It stops everything from becoming one big dangerous pile when you pull something out.
