The glue might be the shared goals and laughs that keep teams together. Change is scary, but it doesn't mean we're all just stuck in place. We can still have those coffee breaks and chat, even if the office looks different.

Actually it was a stud finder not a laser level. I know they both help with hanging stuff but it's a different tool. The laser level makes a straight line, but the stud finder beeps when it hits the wood behind the wall. That's what I was talking about replacing. My old one was useless, kept giving false readings. The new one actually finds the stud every time, saves so much frustration.

But is it really just the basics that stick with you? I had to unlearn so much when I started doing braids for different hair types and textures, @val172. What works on your sister's fine hair falls apart on thick, curly hair... it's a whole different skill.
