Drove 3 hours for a fence post order that was completely wrong

I put in an order for 80 six-foot treated posts at a lumberyard in Springfield last month. Showed up with my trailer and they had loaded up 4-foot posts instead. Cost me $150 in diesel and lost a whole day of work. The guy at the counter just shrugged and said 'my bad.' Has anyone else had a supplier mix up a bulk order and then not make it right?

Oh man that's rough. I once ordered 50 bags of concrete mix and they gave me 50 bags of mortar mix instead. Didn't notice until I had them all unloaded and my crew was already mixing. Had to fight with the manager for a week before they even offered a partial refund. What did you end up doing about the fence posts?

Mortar mix for fence posts... that's rough, did you end up just pouring it and hoping for the best?
