Had a squirrel steal my chalk line in Tulsa last Thursday
I was marking a 50-foot run for a cedar fence, turned my back for ten seconds, and the little guy ran off with the entire reel. Found it two yards over, tangled in a rose bush, with the chalk line pulled out to about 15 feet. What's the most bizarre thing an animal has taken from your job site?

Had a raccoon try to make off with my entire bag of zip ties once (I guess he was planning some serious DIY).

Did you ever get your zip ties back, @dylan619? I had to start keeping mine in a locked bin after a similar heist.

Heard about a guy whose laser level got swiped by a crow. Bird kept dropping it on the roof to hear it beep.
