Appreciation post: Found a 1970s board game with a wild fact inside the box
I picked up 'The Game of the States' for $3 at a yard sale in Toledo, and the rulebook says the original 1960 version had a 'telephone' piece because long-distance calls were a big deal. Do you think modern reprints should keep these weird historical details or update them?

What if they included both? Keep the old rulebook as a history lesson, then print a modern one that explains why it mattered. That telephone piece is a tiny time capsule.
